They will rip you off. Had a clogged sink in my kitchen and they came out and couldn't fix the problem. Charged me over $600 for their poor work and tried to get me to pay another $700- Do not call this company

If you ever need immediate plumbing service, Roto-Rooter is the company to call. Company has been around for many, many years and are true to their name. Their service is superb!!

Thank you so much Roto Rooter. It started out being a typical morning until my commode downstairs started running slow and filling up with water to the point to where it was about to overflow. My 2yr old twin girls where standing looking at the toilet and 1 of them had no pull-up on and it was no where in sight. I was thinking OMG she has stuck the pull-up in commode. By then I we where running behind for our morning routine and me off to work. About to hours later I received a phone call from my lawn man telling me that my commodes was backing up in my yard and only thing he could see was wipes and something that looked like a diaper.

There was no way I could havet gotten off work then, I called Roto Rooter and they gave me an hour window when they would be their and I was able to get someone their within that time. My problem got fixed and their was not alot of clean up after the storm lol. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My two year old had flushed something down our toilet and stopped it up. I called Roto-Rooter and they arrived within two hours. The tech said he had two techniques he could try. First being a 6' manual snake which he really went at it and unfortunately did not work. Then he used a motorized snake that could reach much farther. That did the trick. I really appreciated the fast service and how they cleaned up everything when they were finished. Will definately call next time we have a problem.

I am a property manager. This property had an ATU system backing up bigtime. After trying the service that the maintenance agreement was with, several other companies handling ATU's, the health dept, and the county water company, the only one able to help on a weekend were the very pleasant people at Roto Rooter. The Phone gal was wonderful and reassuring. The technician, Dan, was helpful and efficient, and worked well into the dark. He adverted an additional disaster as a wedding was involved for this weekend. Hats off tou Roto-rooter. I will use you again!!!!!

Our experience was nice and smooth. Pat, the plumber, was out to our house rather fast after our phone inital phone call. He worked out in the rain and the cold without hesitation or complaint. Pat offered us a service that help us find the source of problem free of charge! With that sewrvice we found out what causing our serious situation and hepled to come up with a way inexpensive way to solve it, before we may have the endure the extra expense.



We are extremely happy and pleased with the service provided by Patrick and Roto-Rooter!!! Definately provided us with fast , safe, and trustful work. This is coming from a business owner myself.

I made the appoinment online it was fast and had no problems with the site. On the day of my appointment the service man was professional and informative.

I manage a convenience store with a Taco Bell attached and found there was a leak in the ceiling. I called Roto-Rooter and they promptly had a technician call to ask what the problem was. He was able to come right away. He was able to repair the problem quickly, and also informed us of further problems we might have in the future since it is an older building. After he was finished he showed me exactly what he had done in a way that I could understand, and he thoroughly cleaned up all of water. The technician, Donnie Briggs, was very friendly and professional, and I will definately will be calling Roto-Rooter again in the future.

We recenlty purchased a home. We soon discovered a plumbing problem, possibly a clog. Our home warranty company sent out a plumber who was unable to fix the problem. We called Roto Rooter. They were very professional. They gave called to let me know the exact time to expect the plumbers to arrive. They arrived and quuickly found the problem. I was given an estimate of the repair expense before they began the work. Upon fixing our problem, they did a complete review of our plumbing system and gave us recommnedations for maintenance. I was very pleased with the professionalism. Our technician, Bryan, was so helpful. He even spoke to our home warranty company to explain the problems. I would certainly recommend Roto Rooter to anyone who wants the problem fixed the first time. They were great.

My husband and I just bought a house, actually didnt even close yet, but were allowed to go in and clean it. Whiling cling the upstairs bathroom my husband was downstairs and noticed the water heater was leaking. we shut of the water but the shut off valuve didnt--water was going everywhere. Call Roto-Rooter and within 1/2 hr they were there and installed a new shut off vaule in rapid time. thank you Roto-rooter for your quick, timley service!

Had to call on a Sunday for drain service. I used the 1-800 number provided by yellowpages.com. Dispatch (Sandra?) provided me an acceptable time frame of 35-45 minutes, with the explaination that the technician from coming from downriver, which is a good 35 minute drive to my house. 20 minutes later dispatch called me back needing to verify my address again as they did not document the street name correctly, and had difficulty finding my location. Dispatched confirmed it was their error in providing the name to the technicain, but he should still arrive in the original advised time frame. Someone actually appologizing for an error they created & no matter how small that is good customer service.



Technican did arrive in the time frame provided (granted it was at the long end of estimate). Dave was very personable, and wasted no time in analyzing the task at hand. I'll admit the intial estimate was a little more than I expected, but given my situation acceptable. He was quick and focused while being personable the entire time. He even appologized for the address error issue, when he had nothing to do with it and still arrived on time. Dave wrapped up everything in about 1.5-2hrs, and provided some useful maintanence tips (Some I knew, some not). And most of all, did not try to scare me into doing more work than needed, even though I may have potential issue in years to come (Darn trees!). But I already knew that.



Would use this service again if needed, and would request Dave from Westland. For that matter, any one who may actually read this full review, I would recommend asking for my tech today -Dave Goodwin. Thanks for fixing my probelm on a Sunday, without a hassel.

I called Roto-Rooter at 11pm on a Monday night and John (1295) arrived first thing in the morning. He was very personable and knowledgeable and was able to fix the problem. He snaked the line, cleared the blockage and showed us the camera views of our line. He also explained to us why the problem happened as well as what we should do to avoid the problem in the future. When you have an unexpected emergency problem and have to lay out money you may not have at the time its nice to feel that you got your moneys worth.

We had a leak where the water line meets the water meter. Roto Rooter came out promptly on a Saturday and fixed the line within a few hours. Great job Roto-Rooter.

A tree root penetrated our main sewer drain line, resulting in both toilets backing up. I spoke to Roxanne at Roto-Rooter, who was able to pull up our location and information based on a call my wife had made six years earlier. She told me a plumber would be out shortly.



Dave reached the house within 45 minutes. He snaked the main line and gave me some useful tips for preventing a recurrence. Elapsed time from my call until work completed was under two hours. Stellar.

They did the job as I liked. I thought that the price was a little high based on the 1 1/2 hour job. I think that $595 was excessive. I think that they should have an hourly charge to keep the cost to the consumers reasonable.

Called Mark Childers and his response was very quick. Incoming water line had some old valves and were breaking. Mark fixed the problem very quickly and restored water in less than 1 hour. Mark was very professional but friendly and I would recommend his service to anyone.

I have had excellent service from Roto-ROoter in the past but was disappointed in my service this week. We have a drain in the basement that overflows when we do laundry. It was cleaned out once and we had them come out again to clean it out once again. The plumber was not personable, did not put on booties and tracked dirt, mud, and leaves into my house from his boots and his equipment. Then he miscommunicated to me about a camera pipe inspection and I was charged for something I don't remember agreeing to. Then his recommendations for solving our drain problem including digging up the whole front yard to clear out all the tree roots which would run over $10,000. As if we have that kind of money to deal with tree roots. I am not a happy customer.

We had a backup in the house water coming out of bathtub shower toilets etc,,, Roto Rooter was there in no less than 45 min - The nicest guy ever - he carried his 500 pd machine down our hill and up to get to the clean out- which is ona hill in Westlake- showed us all the roots etc..and was so nice. We had this happen 3 years ago and noone went out ofhtere way to get to the clean out - Just thru toilet or vent anyway service and th guy was great:) WE will be using them again to fix anothr pipe!
