A-Z Roofing

Had this person repair a leaky roof by installing new shingles. His job estimate was worthless. With no explanation, he almost doubled his estimate after tearing up our roof. The new shingles that he installed do not match in color with the rest of the roof – he used red shingles when the actual color of the surrounding shingles is gray! The roof leaked worse that it did before the repair. We called to tell him about it, but all he did when he came back was to put ridiculous amounts of black roofing cement all over his repair (4square ft.) on with a putty knife. He gave no attention whatsoever to the exterior appearance of our house. Once he has your money it is merely a get in, get out type of rush job. We called him several times to voice our complaints, but he screens all his calls through an answering machine. Not once could we ever contact this person directly, no matter what time of day. We told him that we wanted either our roof repaired properly, or a portion of our money back so that we can hire somebody else. He has not returned our calls since. Additionally, his business receipt and written estimate do not contain an address, or even his first and last name! We simply cannot contact this person. Please do not even think about hiring this person for any type of home repair. You’re much better off getting a licensed contractor. My mother hired this person without knowing any better and now she feels terrible for all the money she lost and yet she still has a roof that leaks.

This guy (Kevin) is a total hack. Told me he's been in business over 10yrs but unprofessionally scribbles his estimates on pieces of scratch paper. His self-proclaimed 'guarantee' is worthless as if you ever have a problem he will not answer the phone, return voice mail or pages. Made the mistake of having this moron repair my roof in an emergency situation but ended up with a terribly unprofessional and overcharged repair. Avoid this LOSER.
