The Vacuum Doctor

Vacuum was working fine and all of a sudden there was a high-pitched whine. Easy Housekeeping Shop was permanently closed in Chelmsford Center but I called their number anyway. Turns out they are no longer in business and number now belongs to The Vacuum Doctor.

Called then Sunday and made arrangements for the owner (Gene) to pick up the vacuum at my place the next day. He came on time and we chatted awhile. He impressed me as an old-fashioned business owner who takes care of his customers and has pride in his business.

He did a quick eval that day and texted me that my vacuum had expired. I asked for his expertise and he suggested a replacement. He also disposed of it for me. All at no charge. I feel that's how to run a business.
