        Riverfront, founded in 1977, is a nonprofit organization serving serving youth and adults with physical and developmental disabilities through educational experiences for independent living and employment skills training. It offers a variety of services, such as resources and referral, placement opportunities and employment assistance. Riverfront undertakes a variety of contract services including multi-service mail processing, assembly, packaging and contract labor. Its additional programs include community living, clerical skills training, work incentive planning and assistance. Its employees guide residents about decisions related to work, benefit analysis, self-support and benefit management. It trains people in computer usage, telephone etiquette, record keeping and language. Its Web site offers clients online search tools. Riverfront is located at La Crosse, Wis.
