First off, when they bid we asked to keep the existing shingles and have a second layer applied. The workers made a mistake and removed the old shingles, but then the owners of the business told us we had to pay an extra $1,000.00 for their mistake. We refused. They weren't happy, but it wasn't our fault, wasn't in the bid, and not our responsibility. Five years later, the roof began leaking like a sieve, we called a half-dozen times, but no one would call us back. Finally today, they told us our warranty has expired and we live too far away for a service call. Beware of hidden charges!
