Here is Boy Scout Troop 497 Summer Camp Bus Ride Story.

We had 98 Scouts and Adults go to Summer Camp in 2014, Camp Powhatan Hiwassee, VA.

We signed a contract with USA Bus Charter Carlsbad, California who subcontracted our trip to CM Tours & Travel, Pembroke Pines, Florida who subcontracted our transportation to two companies Key West Express Plus Inc. HIALEAH, Florida and World Transportation of Florida, Orlando, Florida

We drove from Coral Spring Florida on June 21, 2014 to Columbia, South Carolina approximately 602 miles, an 11 hour bus ride. The Key West Express Plus Inc. HIALEAH, Florida bus did not have Air Conditioning after 10AM. We had in our contract that the bus would be fixed or replaced within 8 hours of us reporting a problem. There was no attempt to fix the AC nor was a replacement bus sent. Temperature in the bus reached highs of 98 degrees.

The next day June 22, we drove approximately 229 mile and 5 hours to Camp Powhatan with no AC arriving at approximately 12:30 PM

When we boarded the bus for the ride home on June 28, 2014 the Air conditioning was not working and did not work the entire ride home. We had no AC in the middle of summer (again Temperatures reached 98 degrees on the bus) on our way to and from Summer Camp. We were not offer any type of refund or payment of good will for the miserable bus ride experience.

On the way home the second bus World Transportation of Florida, Orlando, Florida did not have its second driver meet us in Jacksonville Florida. So we had to pay $1,100 for hotel rooms for the passenger on that bus, because the driver could not legally drive any more.

We have not been paid back for our hotel expenses or compensated for no AC for the entire trip.
I would not recommend any of these Bus Companies to take your group across the street.
They are only in the bus business to make money with no regard for the customer at all.
