It was a wonderful experience having Deck Helmet resurface three decks, and two small sets of stairs with composite deck boards. In addition, they removed and built an entirely new set of outdoor stairs . They added additional supports to the existing framework of all three decks which stabilized everything. Working with Jason was a whirlwind. He talks, measures, ask questions and answers questions all at the same time. Oscar and Franklin were two extremely hard working employees and both were on this job from start to completion. They kept us informed every step of the way. They did an absolutely remarkable job and took care of every detail. It was a pleasure dealing with this company, and their employees. They did everything they said they would and we highly recommend them.

They took the time to meet me to show them the deck that I wanted to be renovated and remodeled. They were very nice and quoted me with a very reasonable price. All in all, everything went well and the outcome was awesome. We highly recommend them to everyone.

I just purchased an older home with a beautiful deck but there was quite a bit of damage to the wood slats and railings. I booked an appointment online with Deck Helmet to receive an estimate for the completed job. The technician arrived within thirty minutes of the scheduled time and explained every step of the deck restoration. One benefit of using Deck Helmet is the detailed explanation given. I knew exactly what the job would cost and the work began that very day. The Deck Helmet employee fixed the damaged boards, the railings and resurfaced the entire deck. My deck is now one of the highlights of my home and I could not have been more pleased with the service.

The Deck Helmet estimator came to my home on a Thursday evening because that was the only time I was available. He explained the process that is used for the deck resurfacing and made sure I understood he entire cost. I explained that the estimate was a little high for my budget so together we made adjustments and came to a perfect solution. The work started the next week and was completed promptly.

Deck Helmet is the most inept company I have ever dealt with. I have tried for 3 weeks to get a refund and all I get is a run-around. They say someone will call back - but guess what no one ever calls. I have tried for over 4 weeks to get a refund - I guess my next option is to contact a lawyer and sue their butts. Please -- take my advise - NEVER USE DECK HELMET -- you should contact MASSEY FENCE instead. I only gave 1 star -- they had nothing lower
