United Taxi Cab

I called the night before and spoke to the company dispatcher and arrange for pick up at 10:15 the next morning. They were given my cell phone number to call. They never showed up the next morning, they never called . When I calledthem in the morning they said they had no record of a taxi pick up request.

they are a rip off they charge me $20.00 to pick up my son from knottingham dr and drop him off at 440 dearing ext,never will i call them again

Make sure you check rates before booking they over charge extravagantly. Charged me almost $300 for 40 miles

The lady who picked me up was prompt and courteous. One of my better experiences.

Pathetic group of sleasy scam artist that prey on college students. Taxi driver, Robert, held my phone and credit card while I went to get cash and took off with both of them. Guys at office have been absolutely no help what-so-ever. Fililng a police report now. DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES USE THESE CROOKS! Uber is quick, cheap and safe! I will walk before I give these low lifes another chance to rob me.

I'll admit to some fault to my terrible experience (I was impatient). I called around 7am because the service is "allegedly" 24 hours. It was obvious that I woke someone up. I asked him how much it would cost to go to Watkinsville from Athens. He told me he wasn't sure then took my info so he could give it to a driver. I asked him again for a rate before he hung up and he said he would call me back to tell me.



At around 7:40 I decided I'd be better off with an Uber and luckily someone was around. LITERALLY, right after I clicked Request someone called me and I had to tell him that I was going to cancel because 25-30 minutes felt excessive when I didn't even know how much I would be paying. The guy got snippy and hung up on me after mumbling under his breath.



Moral of the story, always take Uber. Hopefully I won't be too late to my appointment

Earlier an honest driver picked a friend and I up from his house from the east side to down town. It only cost $10.00 when we caught a ride from a driver of the same company and distance but on the way back a driver charged me $20.00 plus my friend who had way much too drink another $8.00. So a $10.00 ride turned into a$ 28.00 ride. F these people and I hope you never fall victim to them. I give them one star because that's all that's the minimum allows.

Called 24 hours in advance for a ride post-wedding reception. Gladys called at the time she was supposed to pick us up and said she wouldn't make the trip. Chris was incredibly rude on the phone

Called at 11am... called again at 11:55... then again at 1230... then again at 1250... each time told they were on the way. At 1:15, I tried one last time and the phone just rang and rang. The capper: they never showed up at all. Not just the worst cab service, the worst service in Athens period!

Crappy. Waited 1hr and 40 mins. And they kept on saying they were "stuck in traffic" in Athens from downtown to here. Yeah no. Pick anyone else.

I admit that the night I called was busy, as it was one of the first weekends that UGA students were back in school, but that does not excuse poor customer service. Or really, no customer service whatsoever. I had to call the company at least six times before the phone was answered. Relatively understandable since it was a Saturday night. Once I was told (rudely, of course) that the wait to go downtown (from Bridgewater, which is maybe five minutes away from downtown) that the wait was an hour and a half to go downtown, the receptionist hung up on me before I could reply. Unbelievably rude. Unfortunate, because we will frequently be needing a cab.
