Been a professional truck driver 30 years, had many tows and services. these people were called for me by the Wyoming Highway Patrol that lets anyone on their rotation list. ( I figured if the troopers use them they should be pros ) I was charged $3400.00 for a 40 mile tow... the average across the nation, $600 - $1200. there was nothing extra no bad weather and it took them 3 hours. from when I called until they were done. DO NOT BE A VICTOM

I am a truck driver who had the misfortune to be bitten by the weather in Elk Mountain, Wyoming. That early morning day, I tested the sour median of the I-80 west-bound highway. I was doing a speed limit way below the posted speed limit. The truck went through my first nasty jacknife; I was pulling a set of double trailers. It stayed upright with both trailers without suffering significant damages, but I couldn't get out of the median, because the driver side tank was punctured by the front trailer's landing gear, and the snow was pretty high. My co-driver decided to call ALL WYO TOWING LLC. They showed up almost together with a police unit, within about half an hour later.The police officer told me to go to his cruiser, so I went. He told me how the acident happened. I told him exactly the way it occured: I was descending a hill with some black ice, some wind blowing snow into the highway. Suddenly, I felt a strong wind beating me, I started to lose control of my truck. I was driving on my right lane, but when I saw the hazard of staying on my right lane, I decided to use both lanes to try to keep the truck under control, which was impossible; so I decided to go to the median, which was shallower, instead of the right side of the road, that was a lot deeper, and with more possibilities for a roll over.The police officer gave a ticket for not staying in the right lane. The other ticket was more just, I forgot signing a couple of sheets of my log book, and count the hours at the end of the day. So, for that I got a ticket and a warning ticket. (3 tickets in total).While he was talking to me inside his car, who I thought was a ALL WYO TOWING guy, came to evaluate the hazmat situation, on the fuel spilling; he came to let the policeman know there was no need to do any clean up.They took us to their yard, some 17 miles East of the accident. They arrived with the towed truck and trailers, some 2 hours later. Then we were told, we had to be taken to their Laramie's yard In a very unoptional way. We went with a guy, who took us there in an uncomfortable towing vehicle. When the bill for their maximum of three hours work came, they charged my company with the TINY amount of: $29, 000.00 THOUSAND DOLLARS for their done "JOB", and :$3, 000.00 THOUSAND DOLLARS for their 'supposed clean up', that they didn't do, because I pass by there very often, and the spot is undisturbed, or unclean. Is it this the way justice works in a free country? Is it that working, or stealing publicly?
