        unprofessional hair salon

        My very good friend who has been getting her hair at JCP hair salon for years in YC CA, made an appointment 3wks in advance for her daughter for back to school. Cut, style, wash, and highlights. The salon calls her the night before her daughters appointment, and informs her that the girl who was scheduled to do her hair, quit the week before, and because of the "kids get free cut in the month of August" promotion they had, they had no one to cut her daughters hair so she had been bumped. They called her at 6 pm the day before, and the day she was supposed to get her hair done was the day before school. They offered her no compensation, or hardly an apology. Unbelievable. They lost her business and my business as well.

        It stinks they don't have the ...

        It stinks they don't have the housewares larger stores do, but they are always happy to help with (free shipping to store) catalog orders. Very friendly staff.
