From the moment my husband & I arrived at the hotel we experienced nothing put rude customer service. We did not have a reservation, when checking in the employee Amanda acted as though we were an inconvenience and interrupting her conversation with a male in the lobby. She seemed as though she was not trained and did not know how to perform her duties. She had no idea how much to charge us for a room and seems as though she "made up" an amount. Throughout our stay which was 2 nights the same employee was rude and always on her cell phone. When asked for her manager name she gave attitude and told me there was no need for me to speak to management.
We will NEVER stay with the La Quinta in York, PA again.
Hotel is very nice, customer service was excellent. Room was changed due to an cooling error, maintenance staff was very helpful and assisted with switching rooms.
