Dry Clean Supercenter of Wylie

I used this cleaners for a few years, and they seemed okay except for shrinking some of my pants once. However, one day, I went inside and brought up an issue regarding their drive-through to the attention of the owner. He was so rude and angry at me that he fussed at me in front of all the customers inside the store. Very embarassing. When I told him that I would never come to his place of business again, he rolled his eyes, threw up his hands quite dramatically, and said, "Oh, no! That's such an aweful loss!!" I could not beieve a business man would act that way to his regular customer, much less in front of an entire early evening crowd. I will never go back. AND, the owner once told me that he also owns the Lube place across the parking lot, so I won't go there either. This system seems to insist that I give it at least one star in order to post.

Very poor customer service. We used them for several years, then one day my wife noticed two rust stains on a shirt. There was a note attached under the fabric saying "stain found before cleaning-tried to clean but could not remove." Noticed that the safety pin had same color rust. Apparent that the safety pin caused stain. Took back and owner explained she saw the stain, but they agreed to try and get it out again... 5 days later we went back and the stain was removed. Owner said it was rust but caused by a previous visit? I seriously doubt my wife would have missed the stain.



To make matters worse, the owner admitted that 5 people missed the stain. The person taking the clothes in didn't notice it, the person doing the cleaning didn't notice it (nor did he notice the note), the person bagging the clothes, and the person that delivered the clothes. No one said anything to us. Never go to this place...

They damaged a comforter I brought in for cleaning. When I showed them the damage, they denied it at first, then admitted it, then "fixed" it by stitching over the holes. The holes were small, caused by their safety pins to mark a stain, but the "fix" was noticeable. At least they admitted it. And by ripping the comforter with the safety pins, the stain did indeed disappear.



Much later, I took in a bunch of winter clothes. I didn't check the receipt. Stupid. I was missing the jacket for a pants suit, which they found because the pants still had the tag. They never found the liner for an all-weather coat that I had given to a friend. They said the put the liner with the coat. Insisted. I pointed out to them that they didn't put the jacket with the pants, duh. He said that was because it was a "rework." I didn't want to know. Nobody said a word to me when I picked everything up. Nobody called me. The unapologetic man behind the counter said they only keep things 30 days and that I was out of luck. They do all their cleaning on-premise, so the liner either is there, or they threw it away. I have a feeling if I had the tag for the coat, the liner could be found.

BOTTOM LINE: Don't bring in anything you like, and CHECK the RECEIPTS carefully. The "convenience" isn't worth it to me anymore.

All in all this place is pretty good. I've never had any issues with damaged or lost clothes. Prices seem average. Plus it has a drive-thru! I would recommend to friends and family members!
