Magic Razor Men's Haircutting

I have been going to the Magic Razor for over two years. I am a very nice and pleasant guy - Have always tipped Jose nicely, even though he is the owner. Have a standard short haircut, no fancy styling or anything.



Sunday morning, I scheduled an appointment with Jose. I came to the shop and after greeting him he immediately told me that he didn t know that it was me on the phone who scheduled with him, and that he can t cut my hair and I m too picky so I should have someone else cut my hair. I was shocked, insulted and in disbelieve and got out of the place saying in a sarcastic way “thank you very much, have a good day!”. The shop was empty, other than another barber with his client, so it’s not as if he was under any pressure there.



After getting into my car I was thinking that this is not right, I’ve never heard of anything like this before, and I have always just been the nicest customer. This is not how you treat a customer! If for some reason you don’t like cutting someone’s hair (which I am still baffled since I really have the standard short haircut) and that person scheduled with you and came there on his own free time on a Sunday morning, you should cut it and at the end say in a pleasant way that in the future you should use the other barbers in the store. I came back into the shop and told Jose that I will make sure that everyone on Yelp and the other sites will know about this outrageous treatment. He told me “go f*ck yourself!”. Anyone else would have probably punched the guy in the face and cursed back, but I am not that kind of a guy.



So I am voicing my frustration and disbelieve here. This is not how you treat a customer or any other person! This is one place that I am not setting my foot in anymore and encourage other to do the same. If you are already a customer there, be warned, if it happened to me it will happen to you one day.
