Lockhurst Drive Charter Elementary

Terrible school. The administration and its leader is so consumed with their political agendas that they overlook the bullying by the other students AND by the teachers. There are only a few good teachers here, but not enough to protect your child from a traumatic elementary school experience.

Highly Over-rated School. The teachers clearly have their hands tied from lack of proper management. the lack of oversight and accountability is due in part to parents' attitudes. lack of concern, wreckless behavior that when politely corrected gets attacked, rudeness and a general "do not care" attitude are pervasive in most parents there. this affects the management's ability to lead the school and clearly there is a reason why they needed to get a magnet school onto the campus - due to low enrollment numbers. people are voting with their feet - elsewhere. a highly over-rated school. my son and i are leaving. you would be wise to ask yourself why they need a magnet school just to keep their doors open. that shows there is something wrong - deeper than surface level at this school.
