Old Bridge Grooming Shop

We have an Old English Sheepdog which gets matted as his hair gets longer. It is our expectation that in certain cases, he will get shaved down to a very short length. However, many times I have been able to comb out the matting that is concentrated in one place on his body, like his chest, by applying conditioner and combing it out while wet. These groomers simply shave every inch just get him in and out the door. Furthermore, they cut his ears leaving scabs on the outide and bloody sores in the inside when they pull his inside hair out. To think we actually pay them $60 for this abuse. I am not sure who the Humane Society should prosecute:us for sending him there or these "groomers". I guess they got tired of plucking feathers out of dead poultry in some factory and decided open a pet groomers. At least, they did not de-bone my dog.
