Overall

I don't write reviews, and have never done one for a company before, but my ire is so great; I really feel like I must. I have NEVER had to deal with a more inept company in my life. I don't think that they can even grasp that their practices can cause life altering decisions! For every order, there is a problem, and takes multiple calls to correct. They NEVER contact you if something goes wrong. They didn't even call to say that there are no more automatic shipments, so when we didn't receive his supplies, and called to ask why, they told me that they no longer do automatic shipments, and I now have to call every month. The last two years, my son's transmitter has gone on his CGM in October. I call to report the issue. Everything "looks good and it should go right out", I call four to five days later, and get "huh, I don't know why that didn't go out in the mail, I will overnight it to you". Surprise, Surprise, three days later still no transmitter. Third call is revealed that a pre-authorization from insurance is needed, and they stopped the order. Didn't contact me to tell me that. Here is the best part, last year when this happened, I was told they automatically authorize for two because this can happen, well when I called yesterday, was told that only one was sent for authorization, oh and all supervisors were gone for the day, so I can wait up to 24 hours before I get a call back from the supervisor.

I am really hoping that Dexcom and Tandem can work with my insurance companies in the future because working with Neighborhood and their ineptitude could cause serious medical complications for my child.

Overall

I've been calling Neighborhood for two weeks because my insulin pump supplies were late. The first time I called they confirmed my prescriptions and said they would ship my order two day. They also mentioned they had just been bought out by Liberty Medical. When I called the 2nd time they said they had not shipped my order because they were waiting for a prescription, I reminded them they had it and they thin found the prescription in their computer. Because I was out of infusion sets they said they would overnight the supplies to me. It has now been two days and they never arrived. I called them and they said they overnighted my test strips and despite speaking to a supervisor they keep saying that the best they can do is ship my pump supplies in 7-10 days! Unacceptable, don't they know that being without an insulin pump is life threatening for a diabetic? Liberty acquiring Neighborhood Diabetes has caused it to go to the dogs. I'm looking for a new pump supply company right away.
