        Huge markup on part

        The basement toilet needed a new pump. Richard P. Waltz plumbing said the part alone would be $500 and it would be coming from Canada. That's quite a chunk of money. I said I would get back to him. I got on the internet--the only company I could find that had the particular pump was in Canada. I ordered the pump myself for $300 including shipping and had a different plumber install it.
