Rapunzels Hair Studio

We took our daughter there for a hair cut. Her hair was really long and we decided to get ot cut about shoulder lengh. I wasn't too sure at first but let me tell you this is the best hair cut ever. Carrie did a great job on her hair and she was sooooo nice to our daughter. Please ignor what other comment said about kids. I went there with my kids( a 6months old and a 4 years old) and staff was so nice to us.

I was looking for a salon closer to my house and decided to try Rapunzel's. I was so happy with the service there, I will return. They were very accommodating with my schedule when I called. I really liked the stylist Carrie. She understood what I wanted done with my hair, and gave great advise. Clean and beautifully decorated.

My experiences in Rapunzel's have always been of the highest professional caliber,and I have always been treated well, provided quality services, and left completely satisfied. I am amazed at the recent complaint made by the dissatisfied customer who brought into the salon her FOUR VERY YOUNG children, whom she allowed to run throughout the salon, yell loudly, engage in arguments with one another, cry repeatedly, and refuse to heed their mother's meager attempts to rein in their exremely disturbing and inappropriate behavior in a place of business. I was a customer in the salon throughout the stay of this family, and I observed the staff quietly attempt to calm the children by providing them crayons and coloring books repeatedly since the mother ignored the fact that her children were ruining the experience of other clients, creating a serious safety threat repeatedly where staff were working with scissors and heated hair appliances, and basically taking over the salon with their running and screaming. This conduct went on for the majority of an hour. The staff made MANY polite overtures, and I never observed from them any raising of voices or impolite conduct. In my opinion, the review of the mother skews events as they really occurred and does not address her failure to manage and control her children in a public/commercial enterprise. I have never, repeat never, witnessed children behaving in such an unruly manner in a business setting, and I am confounded that the mother blames the salon staff for anything or feels so entitled to infringe on the rights of other customers. She should be apologizing and should have left the salon in embarrassment long before the staff had to intervene!

Today I was kicked out by the owner of Rapunzel's hair studio for bringing my children into the salon. I was also charged an additional 20 dollar fee for bringing in my kids. The owner told me that i had ruined everyone's hair experience & therefore I had to pay an extra 20 dollar fee. They did NOT finish my hair cut, never washed my hair nor my daughters hair and kicked us out of the salon, while making me pay full price for both hair cuts and an additional 20 dollar fee. As I got home I noticed that my daughters hair was not even, so I ended up cutting & straightening her hair out in my bathroom. I also asked the stylist to not cut layers in my hair, but I guess she was distracted by my kids and ended up layering my hair anyway. I did tip her because she was very nice & sympathized with me while the owner raised her voice to my kids & eventually asked us to leave. I have never experienced anything like this before, I'm not even sure if what the owner did is even legal, & I will NEVER be back at this salon again, & i encourage all other parents to avoid this salon. I will be contacting the BBB today & will be reporting this unethical experience.
