Founded in 1897, Wetumpka High School is a learning institute that serves students in grades 9 through 12. It offers classes in math, English, fine arts, art, science, computer applications, history, social studies, Spanish, German and physical education. The school additionally provides instructive sessions related to marketing, Web site design, band, technology, and family and consumer science. It offers special education classes for students with learning disabilities. The school operates a library media center that emphasizes on literacy, technology and information empowerment.
