The Owner realized that the existing spiral staircase was very difficult to navigate in this unique 2-Story Condominium and contracted with us to install an elevator. The scope of the project included the removal of a steel spiral staircase, adjustments to the concrete slab, drywall repair, replacement of marble flooring to match the existing floor, and installation of an elevator. The space age looking elevator is ADA compliant and can accommodate multiple passengers with a total weight load of 863 lbs. One of the greatest challenges that were successfully overcome during this project was the coordination of the work in accordance with the Condo Association's rules and regulations.
