Penn Animal Hospital

I recently returned to Penn Animal as a client after several years of going to another vet whose high-tech facility and hours had attracted me, but whose consistently mounting costs finally drove me away. I wish I'd never left Penn Animal. Both Doctors Beck and Bendokas are experienced, knowledgeable, down-to-earth and compassionate. They, and their staff, have been flexible and accommodating of my difficult schedule, recently going out of their way to schedule a visit with my 11 year-old cat, Bugsy, who was suffering from a persistent upper respiratory infection. I have complete confidence in their ability to deliver excellent care, and am grateful to have them so close at hand.

I learned about Penn Animal Hospital from a friend who insisted I visit Dr. Beck to treat my rabbit, despite living an hour away. My bunny was suffering from reoccurring abscesses for over a year. Within a few months, Dr. Beck successfully got rid of them through surgical and pharmacological treatment. I was very impressed with the entire experience including the time she spent examining my rabbit, explaining our options and answering my questions; her vet tech Russ who assists Dr. Beck with every exam and puts the animals at ease; and the organization and follow up service provided by the administrators Martha and Sandy. I have a private cat rescue and so began bringing my cats to Penn Animal Hospital as well. Dr. Beck and her team have provided outstanding care to all our cats from the seniors to the emaciated and diseased just off the street. Now about twice a month I pack up my car with creatures and take an hour ride to my primary veterinarian. And it's worth every mile.
