From estimate through installation to finish these people were professional, helpful, accessible,and prompt. Marc was knowledgable and patient determining the estimate and Ben and Justin and the entire installation crew were wonderful - always ready to answer any questions, thoroughly explaining everything, always making sure we were ok with placement of units and pipes and always kept us informed about arrival and departure times.

Sam was great. He got here even earlier than scheduled. He called to let me know he was there. He was very nice about waiting 15 minutes for me to get home. He was friendly, professional and very careful about not leaving a mess. I am confident my new water heater will be great. The last one was worry-free, when ARS installed it 12 years ago. He assured me to just call and they would take care of any problems. I highly recommend ARS!!

Anthony arranged to check our hot water heater on short notice. It had been installed by ARS in August and there was a small amount of water being discharged from the pressure relief valve from time to time. Turns out the original valve was faulty. Anthony was friendly and professional, and he took the time to explain how he was diagnosing the problem. When it became clear what the problem was, he went to purchase the part on the spot and came back to immediately make the repair (no additional appointment necessary). While he was there he checked to make sure that everything else was working properly, even though this didn't have anything to do with the issue at hand. We anticipated that we would have to pay something for his time given that the pressure relief valve failure really wasn't the fault of ARS, but we were charged nothing (the water heater was still under warranty, so perhaps that was a factor). When I questioned him about that, he said they just want to make sure we're totally happy and that everything is working great. Anthony spent a lot of time with us that day even though he squeezed us in, and he never made us feel like it was an inconvenience. He politely refused a gratuity, so we're making a point to applaud Anthony's great customer service here. Thank you!

Jason was outstanding in remedying a problem that we dealt with sporadically for several months. We made the initial mistake of trying to save a couple bucks elsewhere which led to other companies throwing parts at my boiler without ever actually fixing the issue. There is no excuse to not hire people that truly know what they are doing when it comes to not having heat. Jason was prompt, friendly and very professional. His knowledge of our particular boiler was as if he designed it himself. I waited 6 months to post to make sure the problem was fixed and here we are 6 months later and not a single hiccup with our system. Jason will be the only individual I will let service my burner from now on. Bonus points for him being so accommodating with my many pets running around the house.

Company policy....blah. ARS came to service our air conditioner which they had installed along with a heating system which cost over $9,000.00 a few years ago. We agreed that they should do the repair work which would cost $478.00. When the repairman, David, said that there would be an additional estimate fee of $130.00, I balked and asked him to drop the estimate fee since we were going to have them do the work. He told me to call the office, which I did and spoke with Jay. Jay said that he couldn't make the final decision, but that he thought that the manager, John, would make us "happy". He said that, normally people pay once the work is completed. Jay told me to have David call John to get his OK to drop the estimate fee of $130.00. David spoke with John while I was there and John told him to have us pay the total, estimate fee and work fee in advance! I asked to speak personally with John but David said that he was on a service call and unavailable. David said that I either had to give him a check for the total of $608.00 on the spot or they would not be back. I gave him the check, but called their office and spoke with Cindy. I asked Cindy to hold the check until I was able to speak directly with John to ask for the estimate fee to be lifted. I didn't get a call back from John until 4 days later. I explained the rhetoric to John that in the past ARS came for service on our systems with no charge. He explained that since the machine was out of warranty, there would be an estimate charge to come and look at the unit. I explained that I was not advised of this when I made the appointment. I was told when I made the appointment that I would have to pay for the services rendered at the time of service. This I agreed to. I was not told in advance of an estimate fee, nor did I agree to one. It is customary, in my experience, for a company to advise the customer that there will be a charge for an estimate beforehand. So....I told him that I really wanted the work done, but that I didn't want to pay the $130.00 estimate fee. I reiterated the 2 reasons. 1. I wasn't advised in advance of the fee, and 2. It is customary, in my experience, that an estimate fee is lifted when the work is going to be done by the same company. He refused and began being belligerent saying that I don't want to pay a doctor's diagnostic fee. I said that, yes, I would, if I was advised in advance of this fee. Over all, this was a very unpleasant interchange. He began yelling and saying that I was advised of the fee when I made the appointment...which was untrue. In the end, I am stuck searching for another company and no cooling. Blah.

Bought a unit last year. Fired it up this year and it did not work. They had it fixed 2 hours after my phone call. Great service and my house is freezing, the way it should be!
