If you are considering hiring Sunset Pools, I would encourage you to read the numerous negative reviews on the web because they are all basically saying the same thing. If you want a contractor who won’t take or return your calls, who acts like he is doing you a HUGE favor by taking thousands of dollars from you and then disappearing, who will work without getting those required pesky permits so that your project is issued a stop work order by the county, and if you want your project to be months behind schedule, or better yet, not finished at all then Sunset Pools is PERFECT for you. If you are looking for a professional contractor so that your project doesn’t turn into a nightmare, then hire someone else.

Folks beware!!! This guy doesn't return calls to fix his mistakes. He took our money and refuses to return calls or respond to letters. He refused the letter explaining our concerns. The quality of their work is very shoty. I have rocks and broken stone under my liner. The location where the pool is bolted together has a large buckle, and one location along the pool has a buldge in the metal. I have not been told if the final inspection has been completed. Please check with the state's attorney general and the better business bureau for complaints before you go another step further. Check in both Maryland and Pennsylvania for issues with this company. He doesn't live up to the word of his written contract. His address is not a place of business, but a storage facility was the only thing we seen when looking. Ask to meet him at his place of business, or if he is working from his home, meet him there. I'm pretty sure you won't be allowed to meet him at either location. Buyer beware!!!
