        The Miguel Juarez Middle School, formerly known as East Middle School, offers education to more than 700 students in grades six through eight. The school is a part of the Waukegan Community Unit District 60. The school s curriculum includes science, social studies, mathematics and English. The school organizes a wide range of extracurricular activities for students, including art, garden and reading clubs, drill team, school newspaper, student council and the National Junior Honor Society. It offers various services, such as counseling, special education assistance, food and nursing services. Established in 1996, the Miguel Juarez Middle School is located in Waukegan, Ill.
