Tashe is not just a stylist she is a MASTER STYLIST! She has mastered the art of coloring, waving, relaxing, texturizing, highlighting and cutting hair. Tashe cares about the life of your hair. Tashe will not give you a style that will damage your hair. Tashe promotes healthy hair. Tashe has been my stylist for over ten years, my hair has been safely colored aurburn, black, blonde and cherry red too. Each time the results were fabulous, healthy, shiny and bouncy too.
My experience at Finishing touch was fantastic! The atmosphere is very comfortable and professional. This salon does not allow gossiping and profanity like most urban salons today, there weren't children running around all over the place. I highly recommend this place for a perfect atmosphere and a qualified stylist who is more than capable of providing ANY hair style on ALL hair types. Tashe adds value to any organization that she becomes a part of. Finishing touch with TASHE are #1 in Waterbury in my book!

I walked into this salon not knowing anything about it. I had an engagement and needed a hair style. I met a young lady named Tashe, she greeted me with a smile, she was very professional, as i sat in the waiting area i looked around and liked what i saw, i was in a great atmosphere, the place was very clean and i liked the jazz music coming from above.
I immediately noticed how the stylist dressed, they wear all black their hair and make up was flawless.
Tashe had me sit in her chair and began to give me a consultation. The first thing i asked Tashe was who does her hair and to my surprise SHE DOES HER OWN HAIR!!! At last i found someone who could give me the hairstyle that i desired, i looked in a magazine and found my desired look. Tashe said she could create that style but also offered a few slight changes that would fit my face since the models face shape and mines were different. I also inquired about adding highlights and it felt great to speak with this stylist since she is knowledgeable about her skill. Long story short i received a short sassy cut with color and a few highlights. I loved it and i got so many compliments everywhere i went, i gave the lady at the checkout stand in the grocery store her business card. The extra bonus is that on the other side there is a mens side for barbering so now i book my sons haircut on the same day that i book my hair appointments awesome i get to kill two birds with 1 stone. Tashe is a great stylist, walking into finishing touch was one of the best decisions that i made and every hair style she has given me has caused me to constantly give her more referrals!!!! I LOVE MY HAIR AND I LOVE TASHE TOO!!!!!!

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. I went here and got my hair done by a lady named Tashe who destroyed my hair. I went in to turn my platinum blonde hair a very light golden brown for my wedding which was two days away and what I got was a nightmare. She turned my roots red and the rest was a very dark ashy green. After hours of her trying to fix it she was unsuccessful. On top of that she chopped my hair and I was left with a completely uneven cut. I cried the whole way home and when I called the owner for a refund he told me to drive 2 hours over there to just talk about it. Please don't ever go here. Tashe was more worried about leaving to get her own hair done then fixing the nightmare on my head. She drenched me when shampooing me and was making comments about how she knows Hispanic girls hair when I never brought up or spoke about race. It took me all day the next day and $650 to fix what she did to me. Stay far away!!!

She explained hair care techniques and product knowledge, she was patient and kind, she did not rush through the process. I would recommend this salon and her as the stylist.
