Dunkin'

Always solid. Great location right off of 84. I head in there on my way to work in the morning. It's in a newish plaza. Nice.

Today 12/16/11, I was appalled at the customer service and treatment that myself and my son received at the W. Main St., Waterbury Dunkin Donuts location. First I didn't receive a receipt, then when I asked for my receipt that was already thrown in the garbage, this rude, disrespecful, obviously uneducated young female (who refused to give me her first name) along with her rude and disrespectful male counter part (DeVonte W.) who not only insulted my intelligence, but his own proceeded to tell me that I need to do their job for him and ask for a receipt and that I did not know how to read, when bringing to their attention their own Dunkin Donuts policy of your purchase being free if the dunkin donuts worker fails to provide you with a receipt. Not only was there a sign posted at the register along with prompts to remind the workers to asked if the order was correct, remember to provide the customer with a receipt and tell the customer thanks you and come back tomorrow, is when DaVonte proceeded to tell me that I could not read and didn't understand the Dunkin Donuts Policy, which was written in plain ink and English that he and this uneducated girl obviously didn't understand or lack literacy. I've never been so insulted when this female says "oh my God" then I asked to speak with a manager, not to mention that there was no manager (Tina) onsite nor availed herself to handle this issue. By the end of my visit fifteen minutes later, my money was refunded, however not without this rude and disrespectful girl putting my money on the counter and not saying a word to me and when I confronted her about it she proceeded again to say "oh my God" walked away and then lied about saying thank-you when she didn't. I refuse to accept this impertinence from anyone never the less this dimwitted girl and her oafish co-worker who thought it adequate to speak with such discourtesy. I will never go to this Dunkin donuts again and will inform all of my friends, co-workers and family about the total disrespect from its workers. I will follow this up with a formal complaint to the corporate headquarters along with correspondence to the BBB regarding this location. Rude disrespectful and uneducated workers have no place in customer service and need to attend etiquette classes and return to corporate for more training.
