Id’ grown not to trust everything said on the web. So, when I read the rave reviews and the locksmith services they offer, I was skeptical. I needed a deadbolt replacement, and figured there’s only one way to know for certain – try them out. I called DC Locksmith Service, the dispatcher promised to send the team within fifteen minutes. I received a follow-up call stating the team would be five minutes late to the stipulated time. And sure enough, twenty minutes later, John and David were at my doorstep and got the job done quickly.

It was past midnight, and there was no one in sight. I tried calling a couple of my friends, but my calls kept dropping. Top notch service! I hired DC Locksmith Service after checking out their impressive . Apparently, they offered 24 hour service at zero added charges. I worked odd shifts, and the only time Im at home is after 11 pm. Joe was very understanding and he instantly agreed to get there at my time of convenience. Earlier, I used to take a day off from work to supervise the maintenance work but with DC Locksmith Service, I dont have to. Thanks for fixing the locks up and offering me great advice on maintaining them. I cant recommend these guys enough! Nearly every other locksmith Id called up in Washington, DC asked me to bring the lock to their shop. Apparently, they only provided on-call service for big issues. By big, I knew they meant those issues where they had the chance to make big money. I had a lot of other things to take care of at home and I just couldnt run around town trying to get the lock fixed. Frustrated, I kept calling a few numbers I found on the net, but to no avail. There were a few that stated ridiculously high call-out charges. Finally I landed up on and to my relief, these guys agreed to come take a look. Hands down the best in Washington, DC! Right from the dispatcher to Gary, the locksmith who arrived at my place, the guys at DC Locksmith Service are awesome. When I lamented about how Id been tricked into getting my perfectly good locks with new, low-grade ones, Gary confirmed that it was a common practice employed by most scamsters. They trick you into believing you need something when you dont and charge an exorbitant sum for work that isnt worth the price. Thankfully, I still had the old locks with me and Gary had them rekeyed and refitted. Wish Id come across in the first place and not after spending $250 on cheap locks. I highly recommend them!

My Medico lock became misaligned and we knocked it clear off when we slammed the door. Called DC Locksmith Service. They are, courteous, professional and honest (yes, I said HONEST) and did't take advantage of someone because they were in a vulnerable position. You know a business is done right when they give a reasonable time frame and actually arrive earlier than expected. Great service, very knowledgeable, positive attitude, and best of...........they came when it close to closing time on a weekday. Who would of thought Dave and his sidekick Scott (hope I got his name right) came the night I called them and the next day to replace the counterfeit lock with a great sturdy heavy duty lock he recommended!!!!!!!! It's been almost 3 months and no issues. Why cut yourself short when you can get things done right and get better quality products and service (worth it).
