Pediatric Care
Whether you are a new or expectant parent, new to the area, or moving over from another practice, Warrenton and Linton Hall Pediatrics physicians and staff look forward to welcoming you to our extended family.
Primary Care
Dr. Cheryl Kemerer has been practicing pediatrics since 2000. Her previous practice was in Northeast Ohio and was affiliated with Akron Children’s Hospital. She was one of the “Lead Physicians” for Akron Children’s Hospital Physicians, a network of over 20 pediatric offices. She was also certified by the Ohio Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) as a provider. With this certification, she was one of a select group of pediatricians able to serve as a primary care provider for children with complex medical conditions. She enjoys not only managing chronic and acute illnesses but also promoting health maintenance with preventive medicine. Dr. Cheryl has a wide range of special interests within pediatrics, including newborn care and lactation, developmental pediatrics, and adolescent health. She strongly believes in the importance of working with parents and families to provide the best care for her patients. “I love that as part of my job; I have the opportunity to watch children and families grow. I feel privileged to be a part of that growth.”
Ear Infections
If you’re considering using ear-drying drops, consult your healthcare provider. These drops should not be used for children with ear tubes, a punctured ear drum, ear drainage, or an existing swimmer’s ear infection.
Emergency Care
While children’s illnesses are wide and varied, our physicians’ wide experience range allows them to treat any number of acute and chronic conditions. The Warrenton & Linton Hall physicians have a pediatric focus that an urgent care or emergency office would not be able to offer you, that allows them to address your child’s medical needs from a place of pediatric expertise.
Immunizations
You do not need to cancel or reschedule well check-ups for 18 months and younger; however, we will work to reschedule these if you desire. These children need their immunizations, so we don’t have an added epidemic on our hands. We will work hard to accommodate any missed well visits once things return to normal. We are doing our best to schedule well checks in the morning and sick visits in the afternoon to minimize exposure to sick individuals.
