        At Jimmy Stuart's more than rugs are padded. I was charged $500 for 2 men to install carpet in a 10'X12' room. The installation took 1 and 1/2 hours. That's 3 man hours at $167 per hour. Jimmy said that he pays his installers well, but that's outlandish. In addition, no effort was made to minimize the amount of rug ordered or to piece rug in the small closet. Jimmy said he ordered extra rug in case the manufacturer shorted him on the carpet. Shipping was an added charge.
