While the Tap Room is a great place to grab a beer in a dry (!!) county, I wouldn't go much farther than that. It's located in the Somerset Hills Hotel and is a fine place to go if you don't want to leave, but the food is so-so and the servers are plain militant.

They serve a brunch on Sunday, which consisted of eggs, bacon, sausage and dry cereal, not to mention pretty unexceptional pastries and bagels. This glorious breakfast was provided for the bargain price of 12 dollars, and I had to flag down a server and practically BEG for coffee. She seemed less than thrilled that I had even sat down in the completely empty restaurant and harrumphed her way to the back after asking me rudely if I had a breakfast coupon. When i said no, she was quick to throw me a bill. Of course I was then quick to throw her a next to nothing tip for her help.



Again, great place to grab drinks, but I'd look somewhere else for food or friendly service.
