Had two problem seadoos that I was quoted over 2k in order to get them water ready. Richie got them done for 300 each. It took a bit long then expected but he did warn me he was swamped with work and that he only has himself and a part time helper to get everything done. He's also hard to get a hold of at times - I found that texting was the most reliable way to reach him.

Still, all said and done my seadoos run great and haven't acted up since he finished working on them back in August. Just thought I'd leave my two cents.

To summarize, expect work to take longer than a permanent shop, TEXT him, and know that you won't find a better deal in the state when it comes to getting everything working how you want it. If you're one of those who needs a quick fix and are willing to pay more for that then look elsewhere - to everyone else I'd recommend Richie, hands down

In October 2013 I gave Richie $800 for parts to repair my boat. Finally in February he agreed to meet me at my boat to finish the job. I drove over from Fresno to Alameda and he failed to show. He won't answer phone, text or email messages and has disappeared. Now I will have to pay for those parts again. Stay away!
