Freedom Painting Company

Over all a fantastic experience. Freedom Painting (Juan Rios) painted the exterior of my home in April 2018. I would hardily recommend him to anyone for interior or exterior painting. Below are a list of the pros and cons of this company:
Pros
• Always on time - He was consistently on time every time. If I set a time for 5:40pm…he as there at 5:40pm on the dot. That happened consistently throughout the whole project.

• Very professional – He was very approachable. Very pleasant personality. Very easy to speak to and deal with

• High Quality Paint – He uses Sherwin Williams and Pittsburgh Paints

• Neat and complete job – He finished the job we agreed upon with a great eye for detail at the end when a few touch ups were required. He always cleaned up at the end of the day and completely cleaned up at the end of the job. Absolutely no mess in my yard.

Cons
• Not a hands off experience – This is the only real “rub” during the whole process. We paid him a week in advance of the first day of the job. This, in my opinion gave him plenty of time to obtain the paint. He texts me the night before the job starts and tell me that the main body color that we chose was interior and that we needed to chose another one. Not a good start to the whole process. I quickly check on line (Sherwin Williams website) at our color choice and it clearly says interior/exterior. I tell him this and he responds that they guy at the store says its interior and that when they try to mix it as exterior it comes out darker and fades quicker. If we choose that color his guarantee is voided. I go to an actual Sherwin Williams store and ask an employee what the deal is. Turns out the stores in town are out of the exterior base and only had the interior…they would have to special order that would be in Friday. I had to get the gentleman on speaker on my cell phone and mediate between the two of them to get the information and paint ordered. I should not have had to be involved in any of that.
