Think Twice! This company's policy is to get 90% of the money for a job "when half done". We were confused as to what their idea of "half done" really was. Our experience was once they got that 90% our project slowed down CONSIDERABLY. There was a tremendous lack of communication and we were given excuses as to why the project was extended well past the contract deadline. Workers were sent to other jobs and oftentimes we were left clueless as to why no progress was being made on our much needed in law addition. All the while our 80 year old handicapped family member was left to pay additional rent as the project dragged on. We were asked to be patient and understanding (which we were) only to have them literally harass us for the remaining 10 percent balance. We were bombarded with phone calls, rude voicemails and they even sent an employee to our house to "collect". After all that we received a letter from their attorney threatening that our invoice was going to collections for "interest" which was an additional $1200 added to what we owed for the final balance - because we did not pay them fast enough. We weren't even aware that the project was officially 'finished' either (nothing was signed off on). The highlight/joke of the entire experience was having the owner of the company come over to address a door that was not properly closing by scraping it with his pocket knife and then presenting my wife with an invoice. Overall, the work was 'average'...do yourself a favor and find another local contractor other than this one.

I would give them 0 star if I could. Worst work I have ever seen!!! The other review (on google) about taking the money and running is correct.

Ashley Construction does it again! First I hire them to convert a bedroom into a bathroom and I can't believe what I received. It was like they were in my head and could see what I wanted. Now just this weekend I asked for a firepit and once again perfection! Thank you Robert Ashley for always coming through. You and everyone in the office very professional and courteous.

Ashley construction installed a new roof on my house to my satisfaction. It eliminated a leak and looked good. A year later, I contacted Ashley construction about a problem which could have been due to the new roof or the gutter installation. Ashley constructions boss responded rapidly bringing a ladder to access the problem. While still on the ladder, he called the gutter installer, listened to what he said, then told him what he, the gutter installer, need to do to address the problem. I was impressed by Ashley constructions rapid response. It showed me Ashley construction was willing to stand by its work and it's quality.

Ashley construction repaired a hole left by a satellite in our roof which let water run down to the foundation causing mold. They were fast to respond and fix the repair with good quality and curteous workers. I would recommend Ashley to friends and family.
