Dr. Minaxi P Parekh, MD

This office is a joke. I was hired to do the billing for this office. The doctor never paid me on time. She changed the rate she would pay me whenever she wanted even though we had a contract. In the morning she had a nurse practitioner seeing her patients. She wouldn't arrive at the office until afternoon. But she would defraud Texas Medicaid as well as all of the commercial insurance companies and bill all the patient's using her NPI so she could collect more from the insurance companies when her nurse practitioner actually saw half her patients and the doctor was never in-house while the Nurse Practitioner was seeing patients so the patient's should have been billed for seeing an NP not an MD, and the reimbursement from Texas Medicaid as well as other commercial insurance companies should have been reduced accordingly. This physician is worried about one thing, and one thing only... making herself money. After my contract was terminated I sent her my final bill. It took her 2 weeks to decide she was too busy to look at it and cut me a check for less than 20% of the total amount owed. She was too much a coward to give me the check herself. She gave it to her nurse to give to me then ran out to avoid talking to me. The best interest of the children is not a concern of this physician. Just how she can make the most money by doing the least amount of work and screwing over the people that work hard for her. Her practice needs to be audited. She is defrauding insurance companies. She steals vaccines from the state, vaccines for children program. She is rude and entirely unprofessional. And to all of her patients... She believes she is far better than each and every one of you. There isn't anyone she hasn't looked down her nose at and commented about how dirty or disgusting your children are. It has been 6 months since she either refused to pay me or couldn't afford to pay me. Either way, that should be proof enough that she is a bad physician. If she was a good physician she would be able to afford her bills. But she tries taking the easy way out and now she can't afford to pay the people she hires to do work for her. Avoid this selfish and greedy physician.... Let this be a warning to all patients and potential employees.... She cares only for herself and making money. Shame on you Dr Parekh. Just because you are poor and a poor physician does not give you the right to steal from the people that work hard for you.
