Affordable Gutter Services

Horrible company. While installing the guy made a huge mess taking the old gutters down by splashing gutter gunk build up all over outdoor furniture. Installed crooked, and did not install drain holes as directed. Owner refused to take any responsibility. Called at least 15 times. On the plus side the receptionist is very nice.

Called and made an appointment for an estimate. The man who gave the estimate did a great job. Having two other estimates in hand I decided to hire Affordable Gutters. We set the date and time on the spot. I took off work on the day the work was to be done. Thirty minutes after the time the work was to begin no one had arrived. I called the office and left a voice mail. Ten minutes later I received a return call. The woman from Affordable informed me that the installer was sick and that the work would have to be rescheduled. Remember that I had to call them. She said that she would call back later in the day to reschedule. No call. It is 5:00 pm (Friday) the next day, still no call to reschedule. If their quality of work is anything like their customer service, run, don't walk to a different gutter service.



Update: Monday, four days later still no call when at 1:15 pm the roofing crew showed up to do the the job. I had no idea they were coming. I told the guy they would not be doing the job because based of their poor customer service and lack of follow through that I have no faith in their quality of work. He explained that he was sorry.but could not work last Thursday or Friday because he had to have his dog put down and was too upset. I told him that now I've heard two stories. The scheduler told me that he had strep throat. The installer told me that the scheduler was lying. Ten minutes after he left his office called me. When I tried to explain why they would not be doing the work the man on the phone interrupted and became indignant. In my opinion another example of their lack of professionalism. The bottom line is it does not matter why they showed up four days late but that in my opinion they are unprofessional and not trustworthy. What would their customer service be like if I had a problem after the work was done?
