Shamrock installed my kitchen/dining room/living room hardwood floors. There were several gaps in the kitchen flooring and when I contacted them they said give it 6 months and they will close. They did not. I also called them several times to put a riser in between the kitchen and laundry room as the laundry room tile floor was higher than the kitchen floor. After several times, contacting them, they did not respond so I gave up. A few years later I decided to put hardwood floors in my family room. I did not call Shamrock, but a new contractor (who did an excellent job!). I asked him to look at my kitchen floor and all of the gaps that were still there. He was surprised that a professional would have done a job like that. He said those gaps were there because many of the boards were put in backwards!! I guess I should have continued to contact Shamrock but I did not. Unfortunately, the gaps have gotten even wider over time. I hope this helps others who are considering using Shamrock.
