What can I say about Greg that isn't completely explained in every other review here. After telling my wife she wasn't as intelligent as me and her opinion didn't matter (I didn't have full information and she was correct, which was explained), he went on to lose the back of the piece he was here to fix. After over 2 months of attempting to repair a 1x4 piece of wood, it proved to be too much for him and his company. Fortunately, Mathis brothers, which purchased the lay-z-boy franchise mentioned in every other post here, decided to credit us, not for the piece Greg lost, but for the entire over four thousand dollar sectional. I highly recommend Greg if you have a minor issue and would like to receive an entirely new piece of furniture, because he won't let you down.

As with other posters, Greg Keeter required $65 immediately to look at our La-Z-Boy recliner. He then ordered parts to repair -including one motor that had no place in the chair! Not told the actual cost for parts, but would not order them for us until $360 check cleared. Installation meant another demand for $65 per hour - this time two hours, so $130.
When faced with a fine looking motor that we had purchased and no place to put it, I questioned whether we should be paying his full price. Greg Keeter became loud and confrontational! That $130 was much more important than ordering the correct parts.
When I said, “So, you’re going to stick it to us. “. He said, “I’m going to stick it to you”.
He did agree with my comment that he was not professional.
When I began placing our chair upright( it was face down on the floor.), he actually jumped on the chair and started his drill, claiming he was going to remove parts we had paid for because he didn’t have his $130 yet!
This guy actually ended up name calling and claiming that he could beat me up. And his son who been helping him hold the chair down said he would have helped.
I would suggest that you not risk ever allowing him in your home. Just buy a new piece of furniture if he is your only choice.

I was referred by Lazyboy to repair a hole in a leather chair. Furniture Services of Tulsa sent a repair tech. He spent about 15 minuted gluing a backing under the hole and said the glue would require 3 hours to dry so he would be back the following week. I was charged $65 for the service call which included up to one hour and then told no credit card available so I had to drive to bank to get cash.

10 days later no follow up so I called again. The rep returned in a few days and dabbed some color in the hole, removed piece of foam backing, bent down some staples he surmised were the cause of the ware on the repaired chair plus a second chair. Then collected a second $65 service charge - cash.

I sent an email to the schedule questioning the dual charges for a total of less than 30 minutes service especially since the follow up involved dabbing color into hole and bending staples with a rubber hammer, all I believe could have been completed on the initial call.

After two calls and two mail follow ups no reply; so I filed a BBB complaint. I received a call from Greg the repair tech this morning acknowledging the BBB complaint and I explained my concern, obvious he had not throughly reviewed the BBB complaint, he said so your dissatisfied with the charge and I agreed. He replied, great and hung up. I called back and asked for Greg’s boss, the lady on the phone said he is the boss, I asked to speak to the owner and she replied that he is the owner. I expressed my concern and promised free publicity. I should have looked at their reviews in the first place. I have since called Mathis Brothers/Lazyboy customer service to thank them for referring me to such a questionable service company.

I do not recommend you use Furniture Services!!!! We needed the pull handle for the recliner replaced and a spring reattached on the seat of our couch. They knew this when they sent the serviceman to our house. When he arrived he installed the handle but didn't have the clip to attach the spring. Realizing his mistake, he was apologetic and offered to swing by after work one night the next week and install it. The following Monday morning their business office called requesting the $65.00 full payment of the 1 hour service call and we would need to schedule another 2 hour window for the serviceman to return and I would have to pay an additional $65.00 for the second service call. If you chose to call Furniture Services plan on having to take two 1/2 days off work and paying twice the amount you should have to.
