When we decided to remodel our house we entrusted the job to Norwegian Wood Construction. We contacted them based on the recommendation of a friend & their years of experience in construction. Upon meeting with the owner, Jon Traeger, the scope of the project was clearly spelled out & a time frame for completion within our budget was set. Two walls were knocked down which opened up our kitchen. New kitchen countertops were installed & a tile floor was laid down throughout much of our home. The crew were prompt, courteous & meticulous in their work. They also made sure to clean up their work area every night. This was important to us as we lived in our home during the construction process. The owner was professional & kept the project within the agreed upon cost & time frame. The remodel makes us feel like we have a new home. We love it & our friends & family love it too!

Jon Traeger: Excellent Builder

Jon Traeger built our vacation home in Tahoe Donner.

He has a rare combination of quality old-world craftsmanship and modern sensibilities about energy efficiency and universal design. Our home is a treasure- built like a Swiss clock. If you want it built right at a fair price, we highly recommend Jon for any new construction or remodeling project.
