THIS IS A STORY OF INDIVIDUALS LIVING IN THE HIGHLAND ARE OF WEST VIRGINIA...AS WAS PRESENTED TO MANY PEOPLE CHEDDAR IS HIGHLY RATED AS ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO ENJOY A MEAL...AS YOU ALWAYS GET A GREAT MEAL...AT LEAST UP UNTIL RECENTLY...AS I HAVE TOLD SEVERAL PEOPLE THAT IN ORDER TO GET THE VERY BEST STEAK HOUSE WITH BUTTON MUSHROOMS AND CHEESE AND GREAT TASTING COLE SLAW...SOME OF THE BEST....THEY HAVE CHANNEL THE SANDWICH AND THE COLE SLAW AND ITS NOT AD GOOD....AFTER CONTACTING THE MANAGER SHE INFORMED ME THAT THEY WERE GOING BACK TO THE ORIGINAL SANDWICH AND SLAW AND APOLOGIZED TO ME BY SUBMITTING 4-5$ CARDS AND TELLING ME THAT THESE SANDWICH AND SLAW WILL BE CHANNEL TO WHAT THEY WERE ORIGINALLY...BUT...AFTER TWO (2) RETURN TRIPS TO ENJOY THESE DELIGHTS WE FOUND EVERYTHING BACK TO THEIR (not so good) SANDWICH AND SLAW..IF THEY ARE NOT CHANGED BACK TO THEIR ORIGINAL STATE AS SHE HAD PRO MISSED WE WILL GO ELSEWHERE TRYING TO FIND THESE CULINARY DELIGHTS ELSWHERE...SORRY CHEDDAR YOU PRO MISSED THAT YOU WOULD GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL TASTE BUT YOU FAILED TO FOLLOW THROUGH...AND WHAT I TOLD COUNTLESS PEOPLE THAT THEY HAD THE BEST WILL BE WITHDRAWN AND POSTED AS SUCH...A MAN OR WOMAN IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THEIR WORD..WE USED TO ENJOY GOING THERE...LOL

food was ok..nothing special...dining area was really loud and service was horrible...this place is nothing special...go to applebees instead

Cheddars is a great american restaurant to dine at. You're not only able to kick back and relax and enjoy your experience but you can enjoy the excellence of their american food. From burgers to steaks, I give an A+. I won't eat anyone elses chicken strips. They are fresh and hand battered at the restaurant, same with the onion rings and they are to die for.
