Your primary care physician will see you in whatever environment is best for you throughout your continuum of care. If you require care in the office, hospital or nursing home, we will provide this care as a part of the membership fee. We also provide doctor house calls as appropriate at our discretion. You will not be passed on to other doctors who do not know your story and your unique health needs.

Emergency Care
The concierge medical practice is an innovative style that provides the opportunity to meet those goals. The concierge doctor can be available virtually all of the time to his/her patients without feeling overwhelmed, because there are far fewer patients in a concierge practice. We provide excellent preventive care and personalized, immediate urgent care, thus minimizing the number of calls needed outside office hours.
Electrocardiogram
Comprehensive periodic wellness exams will be provided. This is a health and wellness physical exam, not in connection with any illness or injury, and will include appropriate screening tests at the doctors’ discretion. Exams generally include a complete physical exam, vision and hearing testing, pulmonary function testing, EKG, urinalysis, body fat analysis, carotid and thyroid ultrasound imaging, other ultrasound imaging as appropriate and bone density screening. Additionally, we will review your medical history and risk factors using a health questionnaire and direct interview. When appropriate, we perform TB testing and/or a chest X-ray. When appropriate, we perform exercise treadmill testing. We include an extensive lab panel in the physical exam and perform all testing in the office.

Gynecology

Internal Medicine
Dr. Lawrence is board-certified in internal medicine and most recently completed a geriatric medicine fellowship at UCLA. She loves taking care of patients in a variety of settings, including the clinic, home, hospital and nursing home. She earned her MD from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, OH and completed her internal medicine residency at the University of California, Irvine. During medical school, she was chosen to participate in a research program on aging at Harvard Medical School, where she learned from the nation’s top faculty in geriatric medicine. She is currently a staff member at Torrance Memorial Medical Center and Little Company of Mary Torrance.

Davina has been at our office since 2012, but she has worked in medicine since 2002, previously working in radiology and oncology offices. She has three nearly grown children. Her smiling face is often the first thing that greets patients entering the office. Davina loves elephants, road trips, movies, painting, reading and the beach. She, too, is CPR-trained.
