I hired this company to build what turned out to be a very expensive room addition. In the end I was ripped off and left with thousands of dollars in repairs and additional contractor work. The owner is incompetent to the point that he can't or won't provide a decent estimate that will be adhered to. Instead he will simply keep adding in whatever he forgot and raise the price to incredible amounts above the original bid. He's difficult to communicate with, not showing up regularly, not listening to concerns and design specifications, and not remembering verbal instructions or requests to purposely do things his way (the easy way) instead of how you, the customer wants it. He cuts corners, is terrible at any finishing work and generally unpleasant to deal with. He forgets a lot of details, so if its not in writing, you're in trouble. Don't rely on his sales person and him to communicate about details. You have to tell them both, separately, about any concerns, changes, etc. Did you want to be a project manager for your job? Well, hire these boobs and that will be required. All this agony, added to the worry that the owner, Ken, is a bit cuckoo and felt compelled to tell me his theory on how the air is being poisoned by the armed forces to control the organic population of the earth. This is on the order of our illuminati government that's controlled by satanists. I can't make this stuff up folks, this guy actually told me this. I don't want people like this near my home or children.

This is exactly what a contractor should NOT be. Don't be fooled by their low prices. The price will grow, the service is terrible as is the final product. Do yourself a favor, avoid the nightmare and go somewhere else where they have good ratings and references. This is not a BBB accredited business for good reasons.
