Ace Tree Service

I wouldn't trust these guys as far as I could throw them. And let's just say the head guy, Mr. Kennedy, goes 250+ lbs. If you want people to stand around arguing and cursing at each other for hours, while doing little work, these are your guys. If you want as much collateral damage as possible (damaging yours and neighbors' trees and yards, etc.), go right ahead. If you think it's appropriate for your tree cutting crew to be 12 beers into a case by NOON, have at it. These guys showed up ill-equipped with a Dodge Ram truck, a chainsaw, and a chain, then proceeded to ruin everything in their path. A key quality of a good tree cutting crew operating in a densely wooded and populated neighborhood with 100-200 hundred-year-old trees is PLANNING. These guys couldn't plan how to get wet in a rainstorm. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR WHEN THESE GUYS RING YOUR DOORBELL: JUST SAY "NO"!!!

You know how you had that fat friend in high school who you called "Slim"? That's the same sense in which "Ace" is used in this company's name. They do not show up on time and are unprofessional. The leader, Kennedy, lies and turns your words around. If you give him an inch, he will take 20. Frankly, any experience they might have is outweighed by their general lack of competence in completing even the simplest tasks (ie, picking up a pine cone). Lots of complaining and arguing for very little work. I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy, must less a neighbor.

Great job, done on time and at an affordable price. Would definitely use these guys again.

They did come back and finish the job. It took much longer to complete than what was originally told to me.
