My mother was a client since 2001 and was always treated fairly. Then last winter she took an expensive pair of Balmain suede pants, from the limited H&M 2016 collection, to be cleaned. They were weren't even that dirty. There was a little spot of the left knee but she insisted they were to nice to be not be properly cleaned. I let her take the pants to Tommy at Imperial cleaning. Since he doesn't handle speciality cleaning they sent out the pants. In iDecember of 2017. when my mom restates what happened when she picked them up. A women asked her if they were OK.
She said it didn't even click until she got home to my closet why the women asked if my pants were ok? Im always traveling When I came home from Africa and found my pants in Feb 2018.Then I went to ask Tommy what happened he acted like they weren't damaged. I had to show him the Inside of the pockets and zipper to show the real green and suede texture. I found a replacement pair on eBay for $450 and he refused to take responsibility since it was a 3rd party. He claim he couldn't buy me a new pair the leather cleaners were responible. He said they could give me $100 check. Then I left to California and when the check was ready mom picked it up. She didn't know the pants were still at the cleaners. Im back in Tequesta and just had to pay $100 to rebuy my damaged pants back from this CROOKS. This is ridiculously that he wanted to keep my damaged pants. The building is falling apart and I feel bad for the sweet employees he probably doesn't pay much too when they do all the hard work.
if they could have apologized and taken responsible actions I would have dropped this but we did business there way too long to be treated like this over 15 years later. I will never step foot at this cleaners again!
