Heliocol West

We have been trying to get an appointment to get our system reprogramed for the past month. We first had to wait 3 weeks for the initial appointment only to have a tech come out to "fix a leak", which we didn't have. We called the office to have them send out the correct tech to reprogram our system and it took another week. We received a call the night before the second appointment to confirm that a tech would be out here between the hours of 8-10am. The next day we waited and at 10am I called the office to see where the tech was and was told his truck broke down and they would have to reschedule AGAIN!!! Needless to say we were quite upset. If I wouldn't have called to see where the tech was, who knows when someone would have told us he wasn't coming!!! During this entire month of trying to get someone out here I called the office several times to speak with the Manager whom I told is NEVER IN!! FOR A MONTH???? This is very poor customer service!

We have had our solar now for 3 yrs. We had to have roof work done begin of March. The roofer did not want to be liable for damage to solar. I contacted Helicoil for removal and reinstall. Scheduled the dates and notified roofer of date. Helicoil changed removal to a week ealier not a real big deal. But the installation date was a no call no show. Called and wanted to know what day and time for reinstall. Was told that they would not be able to get out the for a month. We are not able to use the pool because the solar we bought to use this early in the year is not reinstalled. The manager has a this is what you get and that is how it is going to be. Great product but company customer service is horrible. Will tell everyone I can that solar is great but Helicoil is a horrible company to use.

Terrible product. Installation requires penetrating roof to bolt down equipment leaving leaks and permanent damage. Feed and return lines act as water dams causing water to back up and hold water on roof. The roof leaks. The system needs to be reinstalled on raised blocks. Oh yes!, ........ the PVC is bending and bowing. That too needs to be replaced. $700 by Heliocool.

Heliocol installed a system for us in March of last year. I can say we’ve been very satisfied with the performance of the system. The installers were good and so far we feel like we’re getting the value for our investment.

Great company. I wanted a solar pool heater but didn't think I had enough sun exposure. They came out in person to view my property and found a way to install the panels on my arbor roof. Works great and I can't even see the panels!

We bought a solar pool heater from these guys and I have no regrets. We have a gas heater but it got to be too expensive to use all the time. The solar panels work really well in cooler weather and I only use the gas heater now to top it off on the coldest days. The solar tax credit in Arizona doesn't hurt either.

I had a very positive experience working with this company. I called with some questions and they sent someone out to give me a free quote. When I decided to buy the solar panels for my pool they came out right away. I swim for therapy reasons and I need a warm pool. My grandkids come over more often now too because their own pool isn't heated. I'm very happy with Heliocol and their product.

I bought a solar water heater from Heliocol West several months ago and it works great…saves me more money each month than I thought it would. The company also helped me apply for my tax rebate which was great.

Please do not use Heliocol. They tell you one thing on the phone then after repairs

are done you find out they did not do as it was agreed. And then say they did not say it.

They will not replace the solar lines as they say they will. the lines are cut out of flow and are pluged! I was told the line would be replaced, it as not so. They are liars!

Dont use this company! Don't waste your time and money! If you are looking for solar energy , go somewhere else. They had installed solar panels for my swimming pool four months ago and it never worked. Many calls to customer service, many technicians coming to solve the problem and no results. It's been frustrating spending thousands of dollars and having incompetent people not delivering the service professionally. I am starting to question the level of competence and training of all the employees.
