I have been working in the field of mental health for the past 25 years. Originally trained as a school psychologist, I have had a great deal of experience working with children, adolescents, and parents. I received another master’s degree in marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling a number of years ago. Since then, I have worked in a mental health clinic with individual adults and in private practice with couples and families. Because I have worked with clients with a wide range of mental health issues, I am comfortable working with clients experiencing mild to severe mental health issues. Since moving to New Jersey, I have immersed myself in EFT, taking many training courses and receiving both group and individual supervision. The significant amount of research showing EFT’s efficacy in repairing distress in couples and helping them create loving, secure bonds with each other contributes to my commitment to it as a model. And the fact that EFT works so well with who I am as a person adds to my passion about it. I believe EFT has greatly enhanced my work with couples.
