I have NEVER had a better haircut. I have been a patron of Peter Avanti for 4 years now and I have never been disappointed. He is simply a master at what he does. My hair always looks great. I highly recommend this salon.

My appointment for this morning, in which I made a week ago, was changed to a stylist I had never gone to without me being informed. The stylist I had made an appointment with called in sick. I certainly understand these things happen. I am a very patient person. That said, I like to know what to expect when I make an appointment and if there is going to be a change, just let me know in case I may want to change the appointment for a later date with the stylist I know. (I had only gone to this stylist once and she seemed to be new in this business but did a good job. I was hoping my business would be helpful to her as well as to myself). I politely asked if someone had tried to call me. The owner (wife) very rudely answered me (no) and was extremely offensive. Of course, I canceled the appointment to which this owner clearly did not care as she maintained a very hostile unprofessional attitude. I've recently moved back to this area and had just last week recommended this salon to my sister who is looking for a new stylist. I have taken back that recommendation. I grew up here and know many people. I won't recommend this salon to any of them, if asked. On the other hand, I have received a recommendation from one of these people (whose hair looks fabulous). This unfortunate incident with Avanti may just turn out to be a blessing in disguise. If you enjoy giving your money and time to a business that appreciates and values your patronage, and you are accustomed to being treated in a professional and respectful manner, this is not the place to go.

I love to get my hair done at Avanti, it's the only place me and my family go. They have a lovely salon and wonderful atmosphere. I am especially happy to be able to take my kids there. They get what they want and it doesn't cost a fortune because the pricing is very affordable.

I just recently got my hair color and cut at Avanti. My hair has never looked better. Donna and her team did an amazing job. I am getting lots of compliments from co-workers. The decor is very nice and the service was superb.
