Provided by DexKnowsThe guys working at this Bucky's are great! They always treat me well, and don't talk down to me or try to scam me just because I am female. They take the time to show me exactly what is wrong with my car. I've followed Rich (the manager) from one Bucky's to another for years now - he knows what he's doing, and is a great guy. Contrary to what the previous reviewer said, I've found that their rates are typically cheaper than any other shop I've priced out.

Provided by DexKnowsWell, I have been there 2 times and it is just wonderful. Trisha is the greatest. She is so genuinely caring and strives to give good customer service, as do all of the mechanics. I will be a life-long Bucky’s fan because of them.”

Provided by DexKnowsOn the phone and in person, the service at Buckys Auto Repair was exceptionally friendly and helpful. I felt like they walked me through all the options available without giving me a hard sell towards the most expensive one. They don't have a great waiting area, so bring a good book or drop the car off and come back when the service is done. All around a great experience. I appreciated that they did not try to over complicate or over sell repairs that may not have been necessary for my situation. Good prices and great service.

Provided by DexKnowsThese guys will rip you off if they see a chance, the manager Rich is a total jerk, I was quoted around $50 to weld on my existing exhaust. Got the exhaust there, spoke with the gentleman at the counter, told him Rich said around $50, he told me to set my exhaust inside the bay. As soon as I came back with my exhaust I was met by a sweating toothless bald man screaming at me about how he "said $150" and didnt know who I was trying to BS. He then told me to get out of his shop. Total jerk, ridiculous prices. Take your business elsewhere.

Provided by DexKnowsMy brakes squeaked so I brought them into the Bucky's on Pacific in Tacoma and I was told that my brakes were shot and that I needed new rotors for a grand total of $700. I thought this was a little steep so I took it to another shop which told me that my brake pads were at 80% and my rotors were in specifications. The other shop told me my brakes squeaked a little because my brake pad material was stiff and that If I wanted softer brake pad material installed, they could do that for $381. ######I will never bring my car to a Bucky's again and I will be sure and let everyone I know to avoid them

Provided by DexKnowsWe needed the brakes replaced. Just the front ones. I know cars and prices, but had to work, so I had my wife drop the car off. They quoted her $900! Needless to say, I then made time to visit the shop myself. They wanted to charge her four times the actual cost of the best available parts and changed their minds considerably on price when they weren't dealing with a young woman carting two children around. I bought the best parts and they installed them. All in all, the total cost was $145.00. That is a difference of about $750. I call that the "taking advantage" premium. I'll never go there again. You should stay away as well.
