Our design service fee is the first step - a commitment to work with us.Design process takes four to six weeks We offer well-seasoned, in-house design talent for drafting blue prints, writing the specifications and estimating the project and assisting you in selections. The questions we ask: What are your needs? What are property's limitations? We research setbacks, codes, covenants, height restrictions, etc. Does this project make sense in terms of your family's needs? What is a reasonable project investment for you? Resale valueCan the exterior be altered to enhance the existing architectural features?

        We are a neighborhood business and have been part of the Pierce County community since 1978. Chris Smith, owner of Able Remodeling, and his staff includes two sales/designers, a project manager and several lead carpenters. We established ourselves as a high quality, residential remodeling contractor in 1978 and continue to specialize in the residential remodeling business to this day. Our work is in the metropolitan Pierce County area where we have completed over 1100 projects.We have the added benefit of being a design/build firm. This means that we are responsible for constructing the designs we create. The advantage to you is, Able Remodeling, as a General Contractor, is thoroughly familiar with construction costs. Therefore, we can design to your budget.
