Discount Car Clinic

This company is a scam. They charged me $75.00 for a battery load test. They said the battery was bad and a new one would be $179.00. Took car Honda dealership and it was the starter. They put rear brake pads on my Honda. Mechanic did not oil pins and area. Pins rusted, caused the caliber to stick, new pads to wear faster and the guy at the desk stands behind the wrong diagnose and bad work from the company. Cost me $300.00 more to repair what they should have fixed. They are horrible, expensive and cheat, lie to women who do not know the mechanic services of their cars. Taking advantage of women. HORRIBLE. The owner brags on how much his machines cost but train the mechanics to do Good work. Please know this complaint will save you money and pain.

I AM A NEW CUSTOMER OF DISCOUNT CAR CLINICS. I WENT FOR AN OIL CHANGE AND FOUND THEY SELL TIRES. I PURCHASED 4 TIRES AT A PRICE LOWER THAN DISCOUNT TIRE AND RECEIVED MY OIL CHANGE FREE. THEY WERE ALSO ABLE TO DO MY ALIGNMENT. THE FACILITIES ARE IMMACULATE AND COMFORTABLE, THE STAFF IS COURTEOUS AND FRIENDLY. I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL BY FRIENDS.

My husband and I have been regular customers of Fred's for years. He has always been up front and honest about cost and repair time. My most recent visit was to check on a tie rod repair for my Saturn Aura. When Fred told me they were finished checking out the problem, I remembered that my light was on for low tire pressure, so I asked if they wouldn't mind checking it out for me. That's when he told me that they noticed the light too. I had a screw stuck in my tire and, oh by the way, they had already fixed it for me!! That's the kind of customer service you just don't get anywhere else these days. We will continue making the trip from Stafford to Discount Car Clinic when we need to because being able to TRUST your auto mechanic is wonderful!

I have been here ABOUT 6 times in the last YEAR. I would only get my state inspections here at first, but i thought i'd let them start doing my oil changes. Now, i don't take my car anywhere else. If i don't feel like waiting, they will even shuttle me home and back again when my car is ready. They treat me well and have never steered me wrong. YOU GO GUYS!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Fast, friendly, economical.

I LOVE this place! I have been coming here for years and have always gotten great service! They are clean and professional and very reasonably priced. My A/C unit broke during the miserable Houston summer heat and they were able to repair it so quickly...and my A/C still works like new! They can fix anything and my car always runs better when I pick it up than it did when I dropped it off at a fraction of what I would have to pay at a Volkswagen service center. They have a lot of complimentary services and the free shuttle service is so convenient - whenever I take my car in they take me back to work and then pick me up when my car is ready. I would never take my car anywhere else and would recommend this place to all my friends!!

I had My 2003 ford f-350 in the shop and had make Upgraded done to the truck, The have Great Techs!! Great Hours!! Fair Prices!! and Even gave me a FREE loner car while the work was being done!

I have been going shop to shop for years now trying to find an honest place that knows what there doing. I went into Discount Car Clinic after getting a check engine light checked at a "professional auto shop" right down the road from them. That shop had my car for 4 days, charged $300 for checkin it out and gave me a quote of over $3,000 to fix my car. I brought it to Discount Car Clinic and Mike and his guys checked it out for under $100 and found it was a really simple fix. he explained everything to me and gave me a honest price. they even did a complete multi point check as a courtisy. for all they did, i only spent $200 to fix my car. 2 other shops told me it would cost thousands to repair and Discount Car Clinic did it for a fraction of they wanted to charge me. I am 50 years old. I have had many cars with many problems in my time and I have never been to a shop that has explained exactly whats the problem, what they have to do to fix it, and what they can improve on when Im here. They really know what they are doing over there. Im a customer for life!!!
