Primary Care
All patients must have a Primary Care Physician: Our practice is limited to the specialty of rheumatology. Therefore, you need to have a PCP for non-rheumatology medical care. Dr. Houri, Dr. Fiske and Dr. Rivera do not admit patients to the hospital. Hospital consultation services are provided on a limited basis only at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health North.
Emergency Care
After hours calls: If you have a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the emergency room. If you have a rheumatologic emergency that cannot wait until we reopen, please call 283-8380 and leave a message for the doctor on call. Please do not leave non-emergency calls such as appointment changes or prescription refill requests on the after-hours voicemail. This will help keep the voice messaging system clear for those with emergency rheumatology needs.

Internal Medicine
A rheumatologist is a physician who is qualified, by additional training and experience in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and other diseases of the joints, muscles and bones. After four years of medical school and three years of training in internal medicine, rheumatologists devote an additional two to three years in specialized rheumatology training. Most rheumatologists who plan to treat patients choose to become board certified. Upon completion of their training, they must pass a rigorous exam conducted by the American Board of Internal Medicine to become certified.

We help you live fully with your arthritis or autoimmune condition. Our office provides all the essential services including digital x-rays, bone density with trabecular bone scoring (TBS), musculoskeletal ultrasound, medication infusion center, joint injections, telehealth.
MRI
Welcome to our office! We are pleased to have you as a new patient. Your initial Rheumatologic Comprehensive evaluation requires approximately 1 to 1.5 hours for the first visit. Please download and carefully fill out the health questionnaire and bring it to your first visit. This will enable us to spend more time with you concerning your present illness and to focus on your specific problems. Also be sure to bring any x-rays, MRI, bone density tests and labs that pertain to your current condition.
